  An important part of Aerosmith's early live repertoire and in 1974, they recorded it for their second album. Their version is actually a two-part song – the first has a slower, groove-oriented arrangement, while the second uses that of the Yardbirds. Aerosmith turned it into a hard rock standard and a staple of classic rock radio

  Following Hendrix's arrival in London, Chandler began recruiting members for a band designed to highlight his talents, the Jimi Hendrix Experience.  Hendrix met guitarist   Noel Redding   at an audition for the New Animals, where Redding's knowledge of blues progressions impressed Hendrix, who stated that he also liked Redding's hairstyle.  Chandler asked Redding if he wanted to play bass guitar in Hendrix's band; Redding agreed  Chandler began looking for a drummer and soon after contacted   Mitch Mitchell  through a mutual friend. Mitchell, who had recently been fired from  Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames , participated in a rehearsal with Redding and Hendrix where they found common ground in their shared interest in rhythm and blues. Deep Purple - Lazy

  Following intermittent recording sessions between gigs for earlier albums, Deep Purple wanted a dedicated amount of time to record an album away from the typical studio environment that sounded closer to their live shows. They hired the  Rolling Stones Mobile Studio  for recording, and block booked the  Montreux Casino  as a venue, but during a  Frank Zappa  concert immediately before the sessions, it burned to the ground. The band managed to book the Grand Hotel, closed for the winter, and converted the hotel into a live room suitable for recording. These events, particularly the casino fire, became the inspiration for the song " Smoke on the Water ". Machine Head  is cited as a major influence in the early development of  heavy metal music . Bad Co - Bad Company

 We like to share our experiences with music here at 420. A staffer here attended a concert in 1976 (he's the old guy here) 😆  The band was Bad Co and the venue was the Civic Center in Houston Texas. After a stellar performance by Paul Roger's, Simon Kirke,Mick Ralph's and Boz Burrell the end of the show was near but after a few minutes of lighters in the air and 10k fans stomping the floor the stage lights went down for one last encore. When the lighting  began to illuminate the stage a grand piano had been placed center stage and Paul began the piano intro to the song Bad Co. Needless to say the house erupted into pure excitement and nothing more was necessary from the band. They brought the house down that night.
